Boundless Stream ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BabyTick application ("the App"), available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
The following data is created and stored on your device. By default it stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. If you choose to enable Cloud Sync (an optional feature — see Section 2), most of this data is also uploaded to our cloud backend so it can be backed up and synced across your devices:
You can delete this data at any time by clearing records within the App or uninstalling the App.
BabyTick works fully offline and does not require an account. Cloud Sync is an optional feature (available to BabyTick Pro subscribers) that backs up your records and synchronizes them across your devices. It is off unless you sign in and turn it on.
Cloud Sync uses Google Sign-In. When you sign in, we collect your Google account email address to create and identify your cloud account. We do not receive your Google password.
When Cloud Sync is enabled, your baby profile (name, gender, date of birth) and care records (feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, temperature, and medication) are uploaded to our cloud backend. Baby photos are not uploaded and remain only on your device.
Cloud data is stored by our backend service provider, Supabase, acting as our data processor on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
We use this data solely to back up your records and sync them across the devices linked to your account. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it. You can stop syncing at any time by signing out (your local data is kept), or permanently delete your cloud account and all synced data (see Section 7).
We use the following third-party services that may collect and process data from your device:
Used to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the product. Data may include app interactions, diagnostic information, device identifiers, and approximate location (inferred from IP address).
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob (or similar advertising partners on future platform releases). AdMob may collect and use data such as advertising ID, app interactions, approximate location, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, ad measurement, and fraud prevention. BabyTick Pro subscribers do not see in-app ads.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform. We receive only subscription status information (whether it is active) to unlock Pro features. We do not have access to your payment details.
We do not sell your personal data. When you enable Cloud Sync, your data is stored by our backend provider (Supabase) acting as our data processor; it is not shared for advertising. Data collected by Firebase Analytics and AdMob is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. On Android, you can manage ad personalization in Google Ads settings. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Local data: Delete records within the App, or uninstall the App to permanently remove all locally stored data.
Cloud account and synced data: In the App, go to Settings → Cloud Sync → Delete account to permanently delete your cloud account and all synced records (baby profile, feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, temperature, and medication) from our servers. This is applied immediately; records stored locally on your device are not affected.
Deleting some data without deleting your account: You can delete individual records in the History screen, or remove all records via Settings → Clear all records. These deletions are also synced to and removed from the cloud.
Deletion by email: If you cannot access the App, email us at support@boundlessstream.com with the Google account email you used to sign in, and we will delete your account and associated data. We do not retain synced data after account deletion, except where required by law.
Data held by third parties (Google Analytics / AdMob): To request deletion of data collected by these services, email us at support@boundlessstream.com with the subject "BabyTick Data Deletion Request". Google may retain certain aggregated or anonymized data as permitted by law.
The App is designed to help parents record infant care information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Baby information recorded in the App is controlled and managed by parents/guardians.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
